When we launched BeeTrendy.com in 1999, the intention was to update teenagers with the latest fashion trends and to provide safe harbor for teenagers to communicate with each other and make new friends. As the internet evolved and our members grew up, it became clear that communicating with each other, exchanging ideas, and sharing personal feelings are important to our members more than anything else. BeeTrendy.com's chat room and forum outscored all other features. In fact, 99% of the members only used the chat room and the forum ignoring the other features entirely.

With that in mind, we went back to the drawing board and redefined the concept. We changed the name and positioned the interpersonal relationships at the core of the site. BuzzSoda.com. is geared to be the leading online teenage community. Everything revolves around communication. Inside are the old and beloved chat room and forum but members also get personal chat room and personal forum.

Members can also start their own communities (with community chat room and community forum of course). But the most exciting feature we added is the audio/video postings and personal greetings.

Members can record and/or upload audio and video files to their personal page or as forum postings. So now, instead of the boring text messages, members can let other members hear and see them.
